We work on Alternative Cementitious Materials, High-Performance Concrete, Internal Curing, Shrinkage and Cracking of Concrete, Early-Age Properties of Concrete, Durability and Sustainability of Cementitious Materials, Sulfate Attack in Cementitious Materials, Supplementary Cementitious Materials, Behavior of Cement Paste, Mortar and Concrete under Extremely High Hydrostatic Pressure.
Dr. Semion Zhutovsky founded the laboratory of Alternative binders in 2017 after he joined the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering in October 2016. He completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in 2013. In 2014-2016 he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto, Canada.
